No-bake chocolate and peanut butter protein bars with irresistible taste. This GI-controlled protein bar recipe will become your new favorite snack! Keep them in your fridge and enjoy them all week long, or on a day out if the weather's cool.

Per 50 g bar (recipe for 10 bars)

Ingredients

  • 265 g natural creamy peanut butter (just peanuts and salt)
  • 110 g honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 scoops vanilla whey, no added sugar range (60 g)
  • 100 g organic, lecithin-free 85% dark chocolate
  • 1 pinch coarse sea salt

Steps to follow

Step 1

In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, honey and coconut oil until smooth. Add whey.

Step 2

Gently melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Add to the mixture.

Step 3

Use a spoon to mix until you can no longer do so, then use your clean hands to work the dough.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into a 20*10 cm rectangular dish, lined with baking parchment. Place in the fridge. After a few hours, you can slice the bars with a knife and enjoy!

Advice

Feel free to use the whey flavour you like best. Cocoa and caramel go very well with the other ingredients in this recipe!
